It started badly but by the end I started to feel OK about my life again. I even was even able to move beyond my balcony......

Glad you are OK, but hope that is A1-OK and not just OK-ish. Nice photo. I saw the Rhine for the first time this month.
It's actually A1 OK but I don't want to brag about it too much. Having felt so vulnerable over the past two years it's still a new feeling.

Nothing much to brag about -no-one hiding in the wings. I just won back my self-confidence and joie de vivre, after a very long spell of talking to the walls.
Have been partying, doing cycle tours, visiting exhibitions, sans cesse for the past 7-8 weeks. Good job that I have a sympathetic boss when I turn up red eyed and tousle haired on a Monday morning :-)
