Did anyone see see the Blair interview last night? Intended to promote his new book, it was probabaly only coincidentally shown the night before the Labour leadership ballot begins. (I 'caught' it rather than made a point of watching it).
He talked about the fundamental changes that New Labour made to British society. Curiously rebalancing the vast growth in inequalities in wealth and income that arose during the previous twenty years of Tory maladministration wasn’t among them.
Its curious to think that a Dutch coalition government containing neo-fascists is still likely to be more left wing than a 'socialist' one in the UK.
