To be sat on the east side of Tryfan at sunrise and watch the golden glow on the rocks.
To stand on top of Snowdon again on a fair day and gaze upon Dublin city.
To go to Cob records in Porthmadog and spend 250 Euro catching up on CD s and music that I have lost touch with over the last five years.
(Those wondering what he is talking about here should read this travel piece from today's Guardian) .
To go back to Aberystwyth, walk the promenade and touch my foot on the railing at the the north end.
To get a casting call as a co - star with Keira Knightly for a docu- drama about the writing of the karma sutra.
I'll settle for three out of the five.

Aaaah the romance of it all..Porthmadog, Aberystwyth, Llandudno and Blaenau Ffestiniog all those names conjured up memories of childhood camping holidays around Snowdonia. I particularly enjoyed the Guardian article about the Slate Caverns at Blaenau...fond memories of seeing how the slate was quarried and how roof tiles where made (a lost/dying skill?). We camped at Barmouth, Aberdovey, Machynlleth and Bala Lake, beautiful countryside with spectacular landmarks and wonderful scenery. Thank you for helping to lose me in a reverie of formative daydreams! I could do with some of that myself right now ;?)
Glad you enjoyed it Rudi. Glad that you made the link work too - as I had to a repair on it!
....oh yeah. BTW the link doesn't work ;?)
I managed to delete the extraneous characters in my address bar to find it. Anyway once again diolch yn fawr for being a memory catalyst. Iechydd dda!
