Untitled

Of all the seasonal electronic images I received this year, this one, taken from a drilling platform off of Newfoundland, stands out. As well as being a thing of sheer beauty I find it has an allegorical quality - reminding us that there's so much more in to life than meets the eye.


I don't know who the photographer was and would would credit them if I did.

A brilliant photo. Somehow it reminds me of a tooth root under the gumline. And of course the Titanic and its ill-fated voyage. And all those polar bears losing their natural habitat. I'd better stop before my imagination goes completely wild....
