Out on a high

I'm the birthday boy today - but it's going to be a low key affair (except for the full monty English breakfast). Tomorrow sees the year ending on a high note - at 1250 MAS to be precise as a friend has booked a chalet for 12 people in the French Alps. Can I ski? Only langlauf (X-country). Am I insured? You bet. Time to go buy some good shades and thermal underwear. See you all in the new year.

Happy birthday! And have a wonderful New Year's celebration (if you can find anyplace open for a party -- for me, it seems like every restaurant in Arnhem is closed, so I'm off to Germany or Belgium...)

Happy birthday, Nick. And a very happy New Year.
For me, I don't know jet where I'll send my New Year. Probably at home or in one of the pubs of the town of Valkenswaard.
See you next year, old chap.

Belated Happy Birthday wishes to you Nick, and a Very Happy New Year.

There's an interesting link to Wageningen on one of my favourite blogs, Bibliodyssey. Here's the link
