Film lovers

This video was recently made to promote the European film industry. It almost rivals the opening scene of Betty Blue. This was rumoured to be available on the EU's new info portal (EU Tube) - but it now carries a much tamer version. Does anyone recognise the movie that influenced this trailer? Enjoy.
