Cornwall part two

Our time in Cornwall wasn't all spent on the farm.  We also took the chance to go to visit the picturesque fishing village of Polperro, which has an impossibly treacherous-looking harbour entrance.

To do a short section of the South West Coast Path

And to visit the  Lost Gardens of Heligan.

These gardens were literally lost when none of the estate's workforce returned after the Great War. They literally disappeared into the under (over)growth-  only to be discovered and restored over the last ten years or so. One of the most fantastic gardens I have seen. It claims to be one of the few places in the UK that can grow pineapples. And has been voted Britian's most loved garden on several occasions.  Moreover it was not too crowded, even on a bank holiday weekend.

  2. Hi Knee Neck Back Pain
Tx for the comment. Hope you enjoyed the photos and congrats on coming out of the shadows. Comments make blogging worthwhile - even though I can't guess who you are.
Perhaps you need a massage (that's not necessarily an invitation!)
